Unless you've been hibernating through this so-called spring weather, you probably at least heard about Beyoncé's groundbreaking, history-making performance last weekend at Coachella.

People are still discovering the eggs hidden in the performance, and dissecting Beyoncé's impact on music and culture, going as far as to compare her legacy to Michael Jackson's. But one thing is for certain—in addition to being the first black woman to headline the festival, she also broke a record, becoming the artist with the most YouTube live streams for a Coachella performance ever.

The festival started streaming its performances eight years ago, and Bey reigns supreme, with 458k simultaneous viewers on YouTube, according to TMZ. That number is up 75 percent from last year during Lady Gaga's performance. Gaga replaced Beyoncé when the superstar singer was forced to drop out due to her pregnancy.

All in all, Coachella, which also included headlining performances from The Weeknd and Eminem, garnered 43.1 million live stream views in 232 countries.

Piggybacking on the black college theme she incorporated into her show, Beyoncé announced this week that she's giving away a total of $100,000 to four HBCU students who attend one of her four chosen historically black universities through her Homecoming Scholars Program.
