Beyonce recognizes the fact that she has a large gay fanbase, which is why she recently sat down with Pride Source to talk about everything from Lady Gaga to inspiring drag queens.

Among many topics, the R&B superstar opened up about working with Lady Gaga, her collaborator on the chart-topping single 'Telephone.' "I love Gaga," she gushed. "I mean, if she didn't perform and she wasn't a singer, just as a human being I love her to death. But on top of it, she is the most talented pop star right now, and I'm so happy for her."

She continued, "It's just really inspiring to see someone who just creates their own destiny and comes up with their own looks and writes their own songs and choreographs and is in control and is not contrived. If you took away every bit of costume and she just sat in front of a piano, she would still tear it down."

The 29-year-old singer has a special place in her heart for her gay admirers with whom she says she's "always had a connection." Knowing that she's an inspiration for drag queens, Bey offered some tips on how to perfect their Sasha-Fierce style. Her No. 1 suggestion? Channeling your favorite Beyonce.

"I have many different looks, so finding what works best for your silhouette and your face, because I've had every kind of hair style and I know for me there are certain things that I love to wear and there's certain makeup and colors -- bright colors on my eyes -- that just don't compliment my features," she said. "So I think just figuring out which Beyonce works best for your figure and features."

Beyonce released her fourth album, '4,' on June 24. She will appear on 'The View' on Thursday, July 28, to perform 'Best Thing I Never Had' and '1+1' live before visiting 'Late Night With Jimmy Fallon' to sing alongside The Roots. 'The View' airs on ABC at 11AM and 'Fallon' will kick off on NBC at 12:35AM.
