Britney Spears is another pop star with a kind heart, especially when it comes to her fans. A Brit Brit fan, 31, was accidentally and tragically killed last night after attending the 'Criminal' singer's 'Femme Fatale' concert at the 02 Arena in Dublin. The fan died when she fell from the Tip Top fair ride set up outside the venue.

Spears quickly issued a tweet about the matter, sending her condolences to the family of the fan, named Siobhan Healy. Brit posted: "I was saddened to hear of the tragic accident in Dublin. My heart goes out to the family. –Britney."

Rides were set up outside of the venue for fans to enjoy before and after the concert. It is not determined if Spears or the 'Femme Fatale' concert production as a whole have anything to do with the rides or if those were commissioned separately by the venue and promoter.

Kenneth McFadden, owner of the fair operator McFadden Entertainment, addressed the tragedy. He told E!,"We can't say [what happened], it all happened so quick. We are just in bits at the moment, we are just devastated." Authorities are investigating the matter to see what went wrong, why and how.

There is some speculation that the heavy rains of the evening may have impacted how the ride operated and that the wet conditions could have contributed to the malfunctioning equipment.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the deceased fan's family, alongside Brit's condolences.
