Last time Britney Spears appeared on the cover of fashion magazine Harper's Bazaar, it was 2006 and she was pregnant with her second son Jayden James and naked!

For the magazine's upcoming issue, Brit is dressed in a crisp white dress, with her blond hair falling down her back. She looks healthy, normal and pretty as she peers over her shoulder at the camera with a mysterious but happy grin.

We've not seen Brit Brit this luminous in quite some time and it's obvious that's she growing up and is more grounded than she has ever been, which is a huge victory, considering that the constant glare of paparazzi flashbulbs interferes with her daily life. The girl can't even go on a Starbuck's run without a camera being thrust in front of her pretty face. Being Brit ain't easy, but she's coping with it better than she ever has.

The beloved pop star sums up her newfound attitude and philosophy, saying, "I'm more straightforward and I speak up more than I did before." We hear your Britney, loud and clear!

In the accompanying feature, Brit talks about her fashion faves and faux pas (it involves the color orange), as well the fellow pop stars that get her adrenaline pumping. She opens up about her boys and their future, as well.

Her favorite fashion moment:
"I went to the Grammys in 2002, and I had really curly, curly hair. I had a red dress on. It wasn't short and saucy; it was a long red dress. That dress was fun."

Her biggest fashion faux pas: "10 years ago at the Billboard awards, I wore this orange hat and orange bra and orange booty pants and purple fishnets. Oh, and I had an orange jacket on."

On whether or not wild animals like snakes will be a part of her summer tour stage set: "I love to dance, so it's very exciting. The tour rehearsals have been going really well. I think it will be my best show yet … Hopefully, I won't be in the wilderness onstage."

Songs that make her dance right now: "I love 'S&M' and 'Only Girl' by Rihanna; that's why I jumped on the 'S&M' remix. She's really cool. I like her a lot."

On Bieber fever: "I think he's adorable. I just saw his movie, and I really didn't realize how big he was. He's enormous; he's just Mr. Man. A lot of the movie is really similar to what I did when I was starting out. I did a promo tour for a year, going into radio stations and all that. It was so cool to see our similarities."

On what she learned from Madonna, whom she smooched on the MTV Awards eight years ago: "I actually saw her a couple of weeks ago at a party. I guess she's really taught me to stay true to myself. That seems like a simple thing to say, but she taught me through action, not just by saying it. There are so many people around you that have opinions, but you just have to listen to your instincts."

On what type of 'American Idol' judge she'd be if given the opp: "I wouldn't be a tough judge, though."

On Lady Gaga:
"She's unique and extremely talented. I love her spin on everything."

On how being a mom has affected her career: "I think things through a little bit more, and I worry a lot. I'm more straightforward, and I speak up more than I did before. When I was younger, I wouldn't speak up as much, but now that I'm a mom, things have changed."

If Sean Preston and Jayden James want to perform:
"If they have a love and passion for the arts and that's what they want to do, then so be it. They are both little actors and so charismatic, I wouldn't be surprised at all."

Britney Spears' perfect day:
"Getting up with coffee -- two cups of coffee. Having a good workout, taking a swim, my boys being there and just having a good day at the pool -- we have a theme-park slide. We'd have snow cones, then I'd go to the movies and spend time with my boyfriend. Maybe a Femme Fatale moment [laughs]."
