Britney Spears Performs for Over 50 Thousand Fans in Tel Aviv
L'chaim, bitch.
Britney Spears brought the K-Pop superstars out in Seoul, caused a panic in the industry by sneaking away to the Philippines for the first time, and even sang live (you know, as she always does) to drown out the haters while in Singapore.
But alas, all really, really good and cool things must come to an end.
The Blackout Princess of Pop's Britney: Live In Concert summer run throughout Asia officially came to an end tonight (July 3) in Hayarkon Park in Tel Aviv for her first show in Israel ever, where she played to an audience of thousands (the Jerusalem Post put the estimate at "more than 50,000 people" one day before the show) in the scorching 90-ish degree heat.
The massive Israeli crowd was easily the biggest of her entire summer tour. The concert was so big in fact, that Britney casually disturbed Israel's political process by delaying a leadership election by a day.
Hours before the show, Brit Brit showed no sign of nerves before the huge performance while indulging in her (outrageous) shopping spree around town.
The day before, she took a tour of the Western Wall — the only fitting place to visit for the Holy Spearit — on Sunday afternoon (Jul. 2), causing a 2007 era-like stir with paparazzi, security guards and police.
