On Nov. 30, Bruno Mars, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Nicki Minaj plus many other recording artists attended the 2011 Grammy Nominations Concert Live!! at the Nokia Theater in L.A. The concert was hosted by LL Cool J, and all of the nominees in the 70+ Grammy categories were announced. Kanye West, Adele and Bruno Mars were the frontrunners, with West snagging seven nods and Mars and Adele both garnering six apiece.

At the show, Lady Gaga opened and closed the concert with 'Marry the Night' and 'You and I,' respectively. On the latter song, Gaga was joined by the country group Sugarland for a duet. Common, LL Cool J, Lupe Fiasco and Grandmaster Flash also performed 'The Message,' and Usher joined Valerie Simpson for a moving tribute to late songwriters Nickolas Ashford and Jerry Leiber. Rihanna also performed from London, and Ludacris joined Jason Aldean onstage for a country/hip-hop hybrid performance.

At the show, Nicki Minaj, Katy Perry and Mr. Mars all announced the nominees in certain categories. Minaj, who wore a robin egg blue dress and a wavy pink wig, is nominated in several categories, including Best Rap Album and Best New Artist. Mars was the most pumped star in attendance, considering his name was read off in three of the four major categories, including Record of the Year and Album of the Year. At one point, the 'Grenade' crooner threw his arms up in triumph when his name was called, and LL Cool J also tried to interview him, but Mars was left pretty much speechless.
