Christina Aguilera is lending her voice to World Hunger Relief in a new PSA for the organization in which she sings a stark rendition of 'Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.'

The clip begins with Aguilera singing before a voiceover comes in. She says,"As a mother, the idea of children going to bed hungry is unacceptable."

The 'Voice' coach said in a press release that she "can't accept that children around the globe are going hungry, and that’s why I’m so passionate about this issue." She added, "My new PSA for World Hunger Relief is a twist on a classic lullaby but also a reminder that every night, millions of children go to sleep hungry. It gives those children a voice and shows how together, we can give every child a chance to dream."

World Hunger Relief, which is the private sector hunger relief effort of Yum! Brands (KFC, Pizza Hut, Taco Bell), reports that nearly 1 billion people are going hungry around the world. Aguilera has been a global spokesperson for the organization since 2009, and, in that time, she has participated in relief trips to Haiti and Guatemala.

“We are thankful for Christina’s efforts to help us build awareness, inspire volunteerism and raise money to fight hunger," said David Novak, Chairman and CEO, Yum! Brands. "As a company with a huge heart, we believe it is our privilege and responsibility to do everything we can to make a difference and save lives.”
