Christina Aguilera's body of work, like a fine glass of Magnolia wine, just keeps gettin' better. (Really, it's science.)

In a new interview with The Today Show for their Viva TODAY segment this morning, the uncharacteristically pink-lipped (where's the Blu-Red LipSense?) bilingual Bionic diva spoke about her recent trip to Ecuador, which was part of her continued humanitarian efforts since 2009 to support the UN's World Food Programme. The trip, she says, was especially emotional considering her background.

"It was interesting to go into a place that you know your bloodline is from — I'm literally half-Ecuadorian right down the middle...I would look into the faces and think 'Well, these are my people,'" she said of the visit.

The trip also seemed to spark a return to her Latina roots in the studio.

The "Ven Conmigo (Solamente Tu)" singer confirmed that not only will she be taking back the throne — her red swivel chair on the set of The Voice for Season 10, to be exact — but she's working on both her new studio album, which is now inspired by "yoga and breathing," AND a follow-up to 2000's Latin GRAMMY-winning  Mi Reflejo.

The multi-platinum selling album spawned multiple successful singles, including "Pero Me Acuerdo de Ti."

Her English record, on the other hand, has been in the works for a while: "Taking a love for yoga and breathing...not looking at it as an exercise, but just feeling more one with the Earth and everyone being connected, it'll definitely have a reflection on the new record," Christina told ABC News, explaining that she's been "loosely been working" on the album for a couple years.

As with the evolution from Back To Basics to Bionic, and from Bionic to Lotus, fans can expect growth in this next chapter, as Xtina once again channels The Voice Within: "You will see sort of the difference between this record and others in the past."

Lead the way, Legend X.
