Boston DJ, producer and performer Clinton Sparks teases that it 'Sucks to be You' on his new track featuring party rockers LMFAO and pop singer JoJo.

'Sucks to be You' was written for the club, with an infectious beat and vocal swagger that will have people dancing.

Sparks and LMFAO, the electro-hop duo composed of Motown founder Berry Gordy's son and grandson, rap from the perspective of a jilted boyfriend who insist his ex made a huge mistake in dumping him: "Leavin' me, girl, was your epic fail."

"Stop callin' me drunk when you're stumblin' home," retorts JoJo, playing the role of the ex-girlfriend. "Don't be surprised when I just go ahead and cut off the phone."

Lyrically, the song is interesting because it presents both sides of the story instead of just one character's perspective. Sonically, though, it's pretty generic electro-pop.

Sparks is a new name as a performer, but he's produced hip-hop tracks over the years for Notorious B.I.G., Rick Ross and Akon.

'Sucks to be You' is slated for inclusion on his next solo album, due later this year. He has one earlier release to his credit, 2005's 'Maybe You've Been Brainwashed.'
