Cody Simpson, ‘On My Mind’

Last week Cody Simpson revealed the artwork for his new single 'On My Mind,' and now the teen pop singer has unveiled the track itself.

'On My Mind' is a basic pop song with mild electro and dance accents -- just enough to keep the track current.

The 14-year-old Aussie explains that he can't stop thinking about a girl: "The moment that we met, I didn't know yet / That I was looking at a face I'd never forget / Cause I can't get you off my mind."

Simpson's vocals stand out as he continues, "I wanna be your best, I wanna be your worst / I wanna be the gravity in your universe / And I wanna be there to help you fly."

The song not only reaches out and grabs the listener, it certainly proves that Simpson has the potential to be a mainstream pop star in the US.

'On My Mind' will appear on Simpson's full-length debut, which he's still working on. He released the EP '4 U' in December.

Simpson is currently touring the US with Greyson Chance on the Waiting4U Tour through mid-March.
