Some news about the fate and status of the winners (plural) of 'The Glee Project' and their Season 3 roles has surfaced. E! Online reports that Damian McGinty will be the first of the four winners to cross over to 'Glee.'

As was hinted during 'The Glee Project' competition, he will play an exchange student. His name is apparently Rory and he'll crash with cheerleader Brittany (played by Heather Morris) and her family. McGinty won a seven episode arc as part of the prize loot as one of the main winners of the competition.

Fellow winner (and also a recipient of a seven ep arc) Samuel Larsen will make his 'Glee' proper debut later in the season. E! suggests it'll be the ninth episode, which should land well into November. Why is the broody, dreadlocked singer with the "It" factor showing up so late in the season? Word is that the producers are focusing on the regulars this season, hence no big name guest stars with last names like Paltrow and first names like Gwyneth for the first nine episodes.

Like anything in life, somethings are worth waiting for. Once Larsen arrives on the scene, it'll be head-turning.

No word on the development of the two-episode arcs that were awarded to 'The Glee Project' semi-finalists Alex Newell and Lindsay Pearce.
