Dido Delivers an Acoustic Performance of ‘Girl Who Got Away’ [Video]

As Dido gears up for the U.S. release of her new album 'Girl Who Got Away,' the accomplished singer has released an acoustic version of the title track. The video shows Dido playing guitar as she sings, "If only for today / I wanna be / The girl who got away / The lover who really loved / The dancer who danced / To the last song."

She's supported by a guitarist and a drummer who provides the beat with an improvised kit while she sings the hopeful lyrics.

'Girl Who Got Away' is one of several tracks on the album that Dido wrote with her brother, Rollo Armstrong. The new album hits American retailers on March 26 and features the single 'No Freedom.'
