Paramount is considering releasing a special director's cut of 'Justin Bieber: Never Say Never' while the film is still in theaters, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The updated version would give Bieber's female fanbase another reason to head to the multiplex to see the film a second (or third time).

The film, which tells the feel-good story of the Bieb's rise to prominence as a pop star, did well at the box office, coming in second place to the Adam Sandler/Jennifer Aniston rom com 'Just Go With It' by a hair. It allegedly exceeded the studio's first week expectations and the studio hopes to capitalize on the heat provided by Bieber Fever.

Director Jon M. Chu is reportedly working on the new version of his film, which isn't yet complete. Even though the special cut is unfinished, the studio would like to release this director's cut during the 3-D film's third week in theaters. That means next weekend. That's what we call a time crunch.
