Ousted 'X Factor' contestant Drew is a class act. While still nursing her wounds over being eliminated by the judges during her "save" performance last week, the singer spoke out against the death threats and nasty comments that her loyal fans have made towards judges Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger, who were deemed responsible for Drew being bounced from the competition. Abdul and Scherzinger voted against Drew in what many viewed as a calculated move to weaken Simon Cowell's team.

Drew, 14 and mature beyond her years, attempted to call off the dogs when she told TMZ, "That's not what I represent and that's not what I want my fans to represent. No one deserves death threats."

Drew was gracious in defeat, saying that her performance of her save song "sucked," while Cowell shouldered the blame for giving her the wrong song to sing, which landed her at the bottom of the audience voting.

While we agree that no one deserves to be threatened, there does seem to be a kernel of truth in the notion that Abdul, who has no stake in the competition since all her groups were sent packing, and Scherzinger, who has had an axe to grind with Cowell during her commentary, often criticizing him and then taking it out on his charges, sent Drew home for strategic reasons. But Drew really showed why she is a star by not hatin'.
