Ed Sheeran Offers Ruby Rose A Game of ‘Hide The Banana’ at 2015 EMAs

Ed Sheeran used his hosting gig at the 2015 MTV EMAs to make a few (hopefully scripted)  X-rated jokes at the expense of fellow co-host Ruby Rose. Fun!

Moments after the show began, Ed launched into his opening sequence with the Australian actress, saying, “You know the theme of this show is cute versus badass. I figured we could do an exchange, if you know what I mean. If I teach you to be cute, will you teach me to be a badass?”

Ruby responded with a stale, “Are you saying I’m not cute? Cuz I’ll have you know I was born a kitten. There I am.”

She then pointed to a giant photo of a cat the show had projected against the venue's backdrop. Ed mumbled quickly, “That’s a beautiful p—sy." Ruby did not seem to notice.

But that's not all -- the weirdly sexual jokes continued, this time with Ed holding a banana while sitting in the crowd with Ruby when he asked her if she wanted to play "hide the banana." Ruby laughed mid-eye-roll and said, "I feel like you should do it. You’ve probably done it before." Humor!

Ruby later thanked Ed for co-hosting alongside her, posting a photo of the two to Instagram with a caption that read, "Thank you @teddysphotos you are a special and talented man and I am honored to have shared a wonderful night of laughs and music with you. Xo."
