It's probably safe to assume Ed Sheeran fans are having a pretty good 2015 so far. Ed recently announced a slew of 2015 North American tour dates, delivered an incredible performance of his hit song 'Thinking Out Loud' with John Mayer at the 2015 Grammy Awards and there's that whole Beyonce performance we have to look forward to. So when Ed decided to drop his latest single today, it was almost too much greatness to bear at once.

The song, 'Bloodstream,' is actually a reworking of the one found on his album 'x.' He teamed up with the band Rudimental to deliver a heavier version of the track and it totally delivers. Ed said to MTV News of the song, "We've just re-done it and it's heavy, it's going to be great. They've re-done it, it's going to be sort of their first single off their new record...It's really good." After hearing the track, we definitely agree with Ed.

Rudimental told the Sun (quote via MTV), "We've known Ed for years. I remember when we first saw him getting noticed by everyone, he gave us one of his tracks to remix and he said it was one of the best remixes he'd ever had." So it's clear they've had a working relationship for a while -- makes sense.
