Eminem’s ‘Not Afraid’ Takes 2011 Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance

Eminem's inspirational 'Not Afraid' won the 2011 Grammy Award for Best Rap Solo Performance during this afternoon's pre-telecast.

The win was not a surprise, as the rapper leads the field with 10 nominations and had been a favorite in this category. 'Not Afraid' beat out Kanye West's 'Power,' T.I.'s 'I'm Back,' Drake's 'Over' and Ludacris' 'How Low.'

Eminem was not on hand to accept the award, but he'll be performing live on the televised portion of this evening's show. The Grammy was the 12th of his career, with several more pending later tonight.
