Would Fifth Harmony Share Their MTV VMAs Trophy With the ‘Member Who Left the Group’?
The 2017 MTV Video Music Awards red carpet got a bit awkward tonight (Sunday, August 27) when pre-show host Charlamagne tha God asked nominees Fifth Harmony a rather out-of-left-field question about Camila Cabello, who left the group back in December.
Speaking to Normani, Lauren, Ally Brooke and Dinah prior to the award ceremony, the rapper asked if the girls would share their trophy with "the member who left the group" if in the event that they won. Yikes.
After an awkward pause and some uncomfortable laughing, Normani swooped in with a classy answer, responding, "Well, if we win for Best Choreography, we'll actually give [the award] to our choreographer."

Fifth Harmony will perform their hit single "Down" tonight, and are nominated for three categories: Best Choreography, Best Pop Song and Song of the Summer.
