Fifth Harmony’s Normani Kordei Recounts 2017 VMAs Technical Issue: ‘My Heart Was Racing’
Fifth Harmony made their debut MTV Video Music Awards performance last night (Sunday, August 27), and while the girls put on an electrifying show, singing their Best Pop Video award-winning hit "Down," the moment didn't come without its glitches.
As member Normani Kordei lamented on Twitter following the performance, her in-ear headphones and audio pack fell off before launching into the song, leaving her unable to hear anything.
On Twitter, she thanked God for "carrying [her] through."
Thankfully, the performance ended up being complete and utter fire. Just ask Bebe Rexha! The pop singer-songwriter was definitely a fan:
