George Clooney may have starred on Broadway this year, but the real theatre was happening on his scalp.

After briefly dyeing his iconic salt-and-pepper hair jet black during his run in Good Night, and Good Luck, the first-time nominee walked the Tony Awards red carpet with his gray glory restored.

His wife, Amal Clooney, reportedly could not have been more thrilled to have her silver fox back, saying, "Finally."

"Oh man, my wife [Amal] was the happiest person when I came home after the play today and I'd cut all the hair off,” the 64-year-old actor told People on the Tonys red carpet.

"Because, you know, I looked like a drug dealer with that bad black dye job," the Hollywood legend added.

The Oscar-winning actor led Good Night, and Good Luck in a limited run at New York City’s Winter Garden Theatre on Broadway.

He co-wrote the adaptation of his 2005 feature film with Grant Heslov, starring as the iconic broadcast journalist Edward R. Murrow.

Despite Amal not being afraid to speak his mind, George recently revealed his life with the human rights lawyer is super "easy," and the two have never, ever fought, despite being together for over a decade.

A couple of years ago, the Ocean's Eleven star surprisingly told Gayle King that his marriage is stress-free.

In a new interview with the CBS Mornings host, he reiterated his relationship triumph. "I remember we were here with you once before, and I remember we said we’d never had an argument," he told King.

"We still haven’t. We’re trying to find something to fight about! I feel so extraordinarily lucky to have met this incredible woman. And I feel as if I hit the jackpot. There isn’t a day that goes by where I don’t think I’m the luckiest man in the world. So it’s great," the Wolfs actor added.

The Descendants star married the lawyer in 2014, and they share twins Alexander and Ella.
