Girl Kills Cat for Lady Gaga Costume

A young woman in Oklahoma has been charged with animal cruelty after killing a cat, reportedly to wear it as part of a costume for a Lady Gaga concert.

20-year-old Angelina Barnes was found in her Oklahoma City home covered in cat blood. She had apparently drowned the animal and planned to wear its blood and possibly some of its body parts to a Gaga show.

Barnes had been suffering from depression and was taken by police to a hospital to receive treatment.

Gaga has been known to wear bizarre outfits in public, including the infamous meat-dress at the MTV Video Music Awards, but surely she would not approve of killing the family pet for the sake of fashion.

The singer was set to appear on a PETA billboard in February to reaffirm her anti-fur stance (though that billboard ended up being scrapped for a Justin Bieber ad instead).
