‘Girls’ Season 5 Trailer: Marnie + Her Insane Makeup Are Getting Married

HBO released the official Season 5 Girls trailer today (December 2), and Lena Dunham's brainchild is officially going global. In the clip above, the freshly blond-bobbed Shoshanna embarks upon new adventures in Japan, Hannah struggles to balance a boyfriend with her platonic-husband, Elijah and Jessa is being mean...but, like, really mean this time.

Oh, and the case of Marnie's insane makeup is officially solved—she's getting married in it, unless anyone's got a travel pack of paint thinner handy.

The new season will premiere on February 21 at 10 PM EST.

Dancing With The Stars? Yeah, kindly keep Lena Dunham in mind when casting for Season 22.

In a brand new teaser for the fifth season of Girls, which will premiere on Sunday, February 21 at 9 PM EST on HBO, Dunham's character, Hannah, dances like someone who's in the thick of a drug binge. And hey, it's entirely likely that's actually the case, since her character, Hannah, has previously danced while in the thick of a drug binge.

Above, and without a single shred of reservation, Hannah takes to what looks like an introductory dance class like a fish to water. She grooves and gyrates with the best of her fellow performers—that is, until she bumps into HER MOTHER. MOMS: SO EMBARRASSING!!!

In September, Dunham told Elvis Duran and the Morning show that she'll very likely end the show after Season 6, when she's confident the characters will have each experienced some sort of finality.

"Never say never, but that is the way that we’re thinking about it right now and we’re starting to think about sort of how to wrap up the story lines of these particular young women,” Dunham said. “I started working on this show when I was 23, and now I’m going to be 30 so it kind of feels right that this show kind of sandwiched my twenties and then I go off into the world!"
