Much like her 'Glee' costars Chris Colfer, Lea Michele and Cory Monteith — aka Kurt, Rachel and Finn -- Amber Riley, who plays Mercedes, says she may not return for Season 4 of the hit FOX show.

"I may not be coming back for a fourth season," Amber Riley told E! Online. "Who knows? Whatever happens this third season is what happens, and I think everybody's OK with it...I love my job to pieces, but when it's time to go, it's time to go and, hopefully, there are greater things on the horizon."

Because the show focuses on the high school experience, eventually all good things must come to an end and our favorite 'Glee' characters must graduate. However, based on the information that's coming out of Comic-Con, just because the seniors will leave McKinley High doesn't mean they'll leave 'Glee' all together.

One thing we do know for sure is that Mercedes will get herself a new boyfriend in Season 3 -- and if we had to wager a guess, we'd bet that's Sam, despite the fact that Chord Overstreet decided not to renew as a regular character this fall.

Riley says she's totally cool with the idea of herself and the New Directions graduating, because it's the only logical next step. "I mean, I don't want to be a 30-year-old high school student. I don't think it's the end of the world from them," she said of her co-stars.

Whatever happens with 'Glee' is in Ryan Murphy's hands now. Season 3 kicks off on September 20.
