Many cast members from 'Glee' showed up for the premiere of FX's upcoming television series 'American Horror Story,' which just happened to be created and produced by 'Glee' mastermind Ryan Murphy. 'Glee' actors including Cory Monteith, Harry Shum Jr., Lea Michele, Chris Colfer, Amber Riley and Naya Rivera hit the red carpet at the 'American Horror Story' premiere, which was held in Hollywood, Calif. on Oct. 3.

Here's some background info on the TV series, which premieres on FX on tonight, Oct. 5, at 10PM EST. 'American Horror Story' is centered around the Harmon family who move from Boston to Los Angeles after father Ben has an affair. The family of three moves into an old mansion which, unbeknownst to them, is totally haunted, if you couldn't tell from the title. 'The Practice' hottie Dylan McDermott portrays Ben Harmon, while 'Friday Night Lights' starlet Connie Britton portrays Vivien Harmon -- the couple also have a daughter Violet, played by Taissa Farmiga (younger sister to 'The Departed' actress Vera Farmiga).

Check out these pictures of the 'Glee' cast coming out to support Ryan Murphy at the premiere of 'American Horror Story.' We are loving Lea Michele's super-short cocktail dress and Naya Rivera's black-and-white look! Will you be tuning in to 'American Horror Story' tonight on FX?
