Some 'Glee' cast members are in the dark about whether they'll be brought back for Season 3, according to a report on Wetpaint.

While many 'Glee' fans assume that the major players on the show are signed to three-year contracts, other actors are still awaiting their fate for next season.

A rep for actress Dot-Marie Jones, who plays Coach Beiste and whose role diminished as Season 2 wore on, told the site he has no idea if his client will return.

"No one knows," the rep said. "Everyone in the cast is waiting for answers. There are legal channels to go through. That’s just the way it’s done." Keeping a positive outlook, he added, "We’re very optimistic, of course."

When the new contracts are crafted, they may include non-disclosure agreements, given how upset producers were when the name of the prom king and queen leaked last season. Creator Ryan Murphy is on a five-year contract, so he's not going anywhere for a while.

Wetpaint previously reported that Jessalyn Gilsig (Terri) is no longer a regular and would appear in Season 3, if at all, in a smaller guest role, while Dijon Talton (Matt) tweeted that he's heard rumors that he may be back in Season 3, but he's waiting for word like the rest of the cast.
