'American Idol' went country with Season 10 winner Scotty McCreery so why can its networkmate 'Glee' do the same during its third season? Turns out the show will go country this season and include Toby Keith's hit 'Red Solo Cup' on the show in early December.

FOX News confirmed this key detail with Keith's representative. The song, which appears on his album 'Clancy's Tavern,' enjoyed a viral spiral, and became a quickly embraced hit online. Now it's going to get an extra injection when it's utilized on 'Glee,' which is only one of the hottest shows on television.

We're stoked to see who will sing the drinking song and in what context. Odds are it's certainly not going to be Kurt, who was supremely miffed when Blaine came on to him a bit too hard in effort to consummate their relationship two weeks ago after drinking. Back story: Blaine was at a gay bar at the behest of Sebastian, who is currently, well, preying on Blaine.

See, this always happens. We find out a song is going to make its way onto an ep of 'Glee' and we start conjuring storylines in our brains. Thank Ryan Murphy and the music staff at 'Glee.' You guys really know how to make us write fan fiction.
