Now that Season 2 of 'Glee' has come and gone, we're still wondering what has become, will become, and we hope to become of Will and Emma's ever-changing relationship. WetPaint caught up with Jayma Mays, who plays the Emma to Matthew Morrison's Will, and she spilled what she feels about the pair's development.

Mays admits that, yeah, the show did leave Will and Emma hanging until Season 3, but says she's glad that they didn't try to sugarcoat things between the two characters simply to wrap it up with the season. "I really was, because I think there was some debate on how to end the season with them. I don't feel like enough has been reconciled between them. As far as characters go, I like to take it slow and be real people."

As for whether or not John Stamos, who plays Emma's now ex-husband Carl, will walk back onto the 'Glee' set this fall, Mays says simply that she does not know, as it's not in her hands. "I don't know. I can never predict what Ryan Murphy is going to come up with — I have no idea," she says. "But I did love working with him. He was wonderful. But it's nice to have a little Will and Emma action possibly back, too."

Mays adds that she totally enjoyed how her character's relationship with Will played out, slow and unsure, because it was true-to-life. "Totally, totally, especially with her issues about being OCD and germophobia and all of that. I love that we've taken two seasons to really draw that out because it's normal. It's natural," she relishes. "I'm really interested to see how they're going to take that part of her character now and see what happens."

We can't wait to see what happens either! 'Glee' Season 3 will premiere this fall.
