'Glee' had its first run with original songs earlier this season on the 'Original Song,' episode, and apparently, the tunes were so well received that the FOX team wants to go for round two. 'Glee' will debut another original song in the Season 2 finale episode.

According to Savan Kotecha, who helped pen one of the first originals, 'Loser Like Me,' with producer Max Martin, another one-of-a-kind track is in the works for the closing episode. "We’ve actually done another song for the season finale," Kotecha tells Digital Spy. "It’s not been confirmed, but it’s for 'Glee.'"

Columbia/Epic chairman Rob Stringer echoed the news. "There will definitely be new songs going forward, although not every week," he says. "We will spread the net as wide as we can as we go on to find people who are suitable to write songs for certain characters."

Kotecha, who was a choir boy back in his high school days, is pretty much a shoe-in to write some hit songs for 'Glee.' You may not recognized his name, but you know his work -- he's written songs for Britney Spears, Adam Lambert, and Usher. Not only that, he's admits he's big fan of the hit FOX show. "I was a Gleek in high school – I was in the choir – so I love that show."

The 'Glee' Season 2 finale episode will air on May 24, but first, tune in for the all-Fleetwood Mac show -- 'Rumours' -- on May 3.
