Time to start decorating that nursery in baby blue: Actress-turned-pop star Hilary Duff has confirmed the news that she's expecting a baby boy with husband Mike Comrie, due early next year.

PEOPLE reports that Hillegendary Duffination (as we've been known to call her while choreographing  elaborate dance sequences to 'With Love') appeared in a recent segment of 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show,' which will be airing on Monday, Oct. 17, where she revealed that her initial prediction of her baby's gender was correct. "I had a feeling it was a boy the whole time," she told Ellen.

Duff also reported though her pregnancy has been "super easy," she's experienced some weird nocturnal visions: "No sickness, but crazy dreams. It's kind of like a little alien has taken over your body." We'll be sure to let the Hilary-Duff-was-impregnated-by-aliens conspiracy theorists know!

The pop music universe has been holding its collective breath since Duff's last official release, 2007's 'Dignity,' while Duff has been focusing on other projects, including a series of young adult novels. The first book, 'Elixir,' was a New York Times bestseller; the sequel, 'Devoted,' was released on Oct. 11, 2011. Here's hoping that motherhood doesn't keep the Duffster from recording more music — a new entry into her discography is long overdue.
