Satellite radio god Howard Stern was miffed when Lady Gaga came to the Sirius studios yesterday to do a radio interview with Oprah Winfrey's BFF Gayle King. However, Stern's longtime producer Gary Dell'Abate, aka Baba Booey, is confident Gaga will honor her commitment and submit to a Stern interrogation as previously scheduled.

In a Howard 100 news brief, Dell'Abate said that he spoke to Gaga's manager Troy Carter when he ran into him in the Sirius lobby. "I've emailed with him a lot, but never actually met him," Dell'Abate said. "I made $500 bet with Howard that she will show up and when we chatted, I said, 'Listen, I've got a $500 bet with Howard. Howard does not think she is coming in. He goes, 'Double the bet. It's happening. Double the bet and cut me in.' Those were his exact words."

While that sounds like it's coming direct from the horse's mouth, this is not Dell'Abate's first time at the celebrity handler rodeo! "I have been lied to before or things change," he said about booking high profile guests. But he still maintained that he is confident that Gaga will eventually come in for an interview. "I told Howard, if he goes on the air and trashes the s--- out of her every day, the bet's off. And he agreed."

While Gaga's media blitz has taken her through every media outlet known to man, 'The Howard Stern Show' remains on the "To Do" list. While Stern often eschews guests that have already appeared on every other show to avoid overexposed, retread interviews, Dell'Abate reminded listeners that he told Stern, "It doesn't matter, your interviews will be different than everyone else's."

Ain't that the truth! A Gaga-Stern chat would be one for the books and we hope that Baba Booey's confidence is real! We are dying to hear what questions Stern throws Gaga's way. We bet they'd have great chemistry.
