Jasmine Thompson Covers ‘Riptide’ by Vance Joy [VIDEO]

We thought we had it made when we first heard Taylor Swift's version of 'Riptide' by Vance Joy, but then Jasmine Thompson came out with her cover of the song, and we fell in love all over again. Between the simple production and the way she emotes throughout the song, we really can’t say enough great things about her version.

Jasmine’s voice is equal parts haunting and beautiful, and she captures the ominous feeling of the original perfectly. The London-based singer-songwriter has such a maturity to her voice that it’s almost impossible to accept that she’s only 13 years old.

Between Jasmine and Taylor's covers of the song -- not to mention Jasmine's incredible version of Taylor's 'Everything Has Changed' -- we would love to hear some kind of collaboration between the two in the future.
