Kanye West + Jay-Z vs. Tyga – Sound Off

Kanye West and Jay-Z reign! After just one win, Ms. Minaj and her single 'Stupid H--' lose to Hov and Ye in PopCrush's Sound Off series. Today, the 'Watch the Throne' single, 'Gotta Have It' is paired up against Tyga's smash single 'Rack City.'

Kanye West and Jay-Z's six and most recent 'Watch the Throne' single is a midtempo jam featuring an infectious looping Eastern melody over hard-hitting drums and synth beats. Funk originator James Brown gives them a little love in a sample in the outro.

Tyga's third single off 'Careless World: Rise of the Last King' is an ode to the Vegas strip girls -- full of cliched and NSFW lyrics. But it's the catchy, repetitive chorus and handclaps over the lower register synth helmed by producer DJ Mustard that wins us over -- again and again.
