Jennifer Lopez and Casper Smart have ended their two-and-a-half year relationship, sources tell Us Weekly.

Reportedly, the two had been busy over the last several weeks, with Lopez working on releasing her album, 'A.K.A.,' while Smart has been focused on launching a television and movie career. Smart used to be a backup dancer but is now a choreographer who is also breaking into acting.

Casper, 27, and Lopez, 44, began dating after Lopez separated from her husband of seven years, Marc Anthony. The two had met through her work when Smart worked as her choreographer for her world tour in 2012.

“It was really professional for a very long time before anything even happened,” Smart told E! in 2012. “It just really spontaneously happened I guess. The chemistry was there. You can’t fight it.”

"She's a beautiful woman," he admitted. "She's a good person like anyone else…we're all just people."

Sources to Us Weekly say that the split between Lopez and Smart is amicable.
