If you are a child of the late '80s/early '90s, chances are that you are very familiar with the caper in the red-hat known as Carmen Sandiego.'Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?' started as an educational computer game for kids, and now, more than two decades after the elusive robber broke onto the scene, there are talks about a film adaptation. Who is in talks to play to the infamous Carmen, you ask? None other than the super fierce Jennifer Lopez!

According to Deadline, Walden Media has obtained the rights to the 'Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?' franchise, and they are trying to get Jenny from the Block to play the title character. As of right now, Lopez has only signed on to produce the live-action flick. However, Walden Media hopes that she will agree to portray Ms. Sandiego, who walks a fine line between hero and villain.

Starting out as a computer game and later adapted into a TV series and a game show, 'Where in the World Is Carmen Sandiego?' follows professional thief Carmen Sandiego and the members of the ACME Detective Agency who are constantly trying to capture the crimson criminal. Sandiego -- who formerly worked as one of the greatest ACME detectives before switching sides -- is the head of V.I.L.E. (Villains' International League of Evil), and she is known for stealing irreplaceable artifacts, like the Statue of Liberty's torch and the gargoyles off of the Notre Dame Cathedral.

We think Ms. Lopez would make the perfect Carmen Sandiego, since the character is known for her stealth, brains, and beauty. Ms. Lopez is certainly a smartie since she has had massive success in several industries including music, fashion, television and film. She is also quite beautiful, and we think she would look amazing in that red hat and trench coat. Can't you just see her nabbing the keys to the Tower or London or ripping the Mona Lisa off the wall at the Louvre now?
