Though Jurassic World can't guarantee its patrons will leave the park alive, its future is  looking pretty bright.

The fourth installment of the Jurassic Park series, which stars Chris Pratt, opened to some huge numbers this weekend: $511.8 million worldwide, for starters, which stands as the highest-grossing global opener of all time, according to CNN Money.

Domestically, Jurassic raked in just shy of $205 million, Box Office Mojo reported, and managed to earn $64.1 million on Friday alone. And we thought the neighborhood lemonade stand was faring well...

The numbers are certainly good news for Pratt, who's slated to star in a handful of forthcoming sequels.

"They have me for I think 38 movies or something," he joked to Entertainment Weekly in a story that ran on Saturday, and said he still remembers seeing the series' first installment in 1993.

"I saw it on opening weekend twice," he recalled. "It just captured my imagination and swept me up. I was one of the kids who in that generation who saw that movie. I can’t think of anyone who’s like 'I haven’t seen Jurassic Park.'"

Miles away from the dino-park, Melissa McCarthy's Spy took second place with $16 million, while Dwayne Johnson's San Andreas rounded out the Top 3 after making a little bit more than $11 million.
