Justin Bieber Reaches 9 Million ‘Beliebers’ on Twitter

Justin Bieber's popularity still has room to grow, apparently. The 17-year-old world-famous popstar reached 9 million Twitter followers this week, surpassing Britney Spears, Katy Perry, and Rihanna -- and is now hot on the heels of Lady Gaga, who has 9.5 million tweeting fans.

"9 MILLION!!! I LOVE YOU PEOPLE!!!" the Biebs tweeted Friday, adding, "WOOOHOOOO...BIEBER GONE WILD!!!!" While we're unsure whether or not the crazed teen icon was running around topless, one thing is immensely clear -- Bieber's motto, "never say never," continues to hold true.

The 'Baby' hitmaker even etched himself a place on Time Magazine's '100 Most Influential People' list among Oprah Winfrey, Prince William, and President Obama. It hit newsstands yesterday.

The Biebs performs tonight at Indonesia's Sentul International Convention Centre, and will then take his My World Tour to Australia for a string of six shows from April 26-May 5.
