The holidays are hard for a large sector of the population, namely those who are poor or have fallen on hard times. That also increases the difficulty of operations for organizations that provide support and supplies to the less fortunate and the needy, like food pantries and soup kitchens. Leave it to the always generous and thoughtful Justin Bieber to take this cold, hard fact into consideration and to offer his help.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Biebs has donated $10,000 to the Stratford House of Blessing, the food pantry that he and his mother Pattie Mallette used to frequent when they were struggling!

The Stratford House of Blessing is located in The Bieb's hometown of Stratford, Ontario in Canada. The donation should help to keep the pantry well-stocked through the holidays, ensuring that the locals facing financial troubles won't go hungry.

"We just want to say how thankful we are to Justin Bieber and his family," House of Blessing’s executive director said. "The citizens that are struggling in Stratford will surely benefit from his generosity."

Once again, nice work, Biebs! You really do have a big, generous heart. Lest we forget that the 'Baby' singer will donate a portion of the proceeds from his 'Under the Mistletoe' Christmas album to a variety of charities, ranging from Make-a-Wish to Pencils of Promise. 'Under the Mistletoe,' his holiday album featuring a collab with Usher, is out Nov. 1.
