Justin Bieber's worked with some of music's biggest names through his career (Usher, Ludacris and Diplo, just to name a few), but make no mistake—he's the captain of his own ship.

In an interview with Australia's KIIS 1065 this morning (September 30), Bieber, who's worked with Kanye West in preparation for his forthcoming album, said of the rapper: "He's just so talented. He's really one of the best." Still, when it comes to writing and nailing down his creative process, Justin's usually inclined to go solo.

"I don't really listen to anyone's opinion when it comes to my music," he says in the clip above. "I think creativity comes from inside you, right? I don't know, sometimes I lean on people, but most of the time, I just try to do it myself."

Either way, his studio-strategy seems to have worked, and though it's been a long road, Album No. 4 is ready to go, he insists.

"We actually worked on this album for the past three years, so it's been a long process," he admits. "You just finally get to a place where you're like: this is ready, and I think the wait is finally up."

And speaking of waiting, he's fine leaving his love life shelved for the moment.

"The last relationship I was in—so much judgment and so many people saying what they think," he shared, noting he's very much single, and very much fine with that.
