A picture may be worth a thousand words, but for Justin Bieber, actual conversation is exceedingly more valuable.

While making his way around Australia, the "Where Are U Now?" singer posted a Snapchat video in which he shared his views on taking photos or selfies with fans. First things first, though—he'd much rather shoot the breeze with his adoring Beliebers.

"Honestly I’d rather stand there and talk to you for five minutes and not take any photos… just have that moment without the chaos," he shared. "It’s like, why did you travel to see me in the first place, was it really to see me or was it to get that moment of you seeing me so you could tell people about it?"

If a tree falls in the woods, Biebs...

Justin moved on to say that whether he decides to join in for a pic is a matter of how he's approached: If it looks like he's rushing, it's probably not a good time to break out the lens.

"If I’m walking somewhere or arriving somewhere and you guys are asking me to take a photo, if I don’t respond, if I continue to keep walking, the likelihood is that I probably don’t want to take a photo at that moment," he noted. "If you start screaming louder that’s not going to make me want to take a photo more."

In summation, Bieber's new favorite fan is a whispery chatterbox. Got it.
