Remember Justin Bieber's snake, named Johnson? We know, we know, that's ripe for all kinds of R-rated comments, so slow your roll if you're thinking of going there.

Seriously, The Biebs carried a tiny boa constrictor as an accessory at the 2011 VMAs last August. The serpent was wrapped around the singer's wrist and the teen had a religious motif going on that night, since the snake is a prominent Old Testament symbol and he proudly thanked Jesus in his acceptance speech. After the event, Johnson was auctioned off for charity. Guess what happened to the slithery little guy? Well, the winning bidder decided to donate him to the Rad Zoo in Owatonna, Minn.

Johnson was the prize in a Pencils of Promise auction. That's one of The Biebs' charities of choice. All bidders were warned about the level of responsibility that the snake would entail and humane treatment was stressed as critical. Obviously, the winner acted in accordance with those wishes.

According to TMZ, a rep for the zoo said that Johnson's owner wanted the reptile to have a good home and considered the Rad Zoo a quality place for him to live out the rest of his life. Johnson has been on site for a week and all indications are that he is happy in his new digs. What a feel good story, right?

Zookeepers plan to erect a sign letting visitors know about Johnson's connection to The Biebs. That oughta make him one of the most popular attractions at the zoo. At least the snake's 2011 VMAs date can visit him, too.

All's well that ends well.
