Just as it does every year, the 2015 Met Gala brought together some of the biggest stars sporting wild, over-the-top ensembles. While we’ll likely remain in the dark about most of the event's celebrity glad-handing, Cher illuminated fans as to what it was like meeting Kanye West and Kim Kardashian on Monday night (May 4).

A fan tweeted Cher asking it was like hanging with Kimye, and the iconic singer had nothing but good things to say about the couple -- oh, and she revealed that West thanked her for spearheading Auto-Tune:

That's right -- while Cher and Kardashian discussed Armenia, West opted for some polite Auto Tune-related dinner conversation. At least it kind of gives us some deeper understanding of 2008’s 808s & Heartbreak.

West has been working on his next album, which will follow 2013’s Yeezus. Though the “Only One” rapper originally dubbed the forthcoming album, So Help Me God, he has since renamed the LP, Swish, admitting that the title could potentially change again.

Unfortunately, it appears that West’s long-awaited collaboration with Taylor Swift likely won’t appear on the rapper’s upcoming album. Swift recently revealed that the two hadn’t entered the studio together yet, but the 1989 singer said West has “a lot of amazing ideas.” We’ll just have to keep waiting to hear what that collab will sound like and when it will surface.
