Kanye West as the King of Pop

Hip-hop superstar Kanye West makes no secret that he idolizes Michael Jackson; he channeled the King of Pop at his Halloween party at The Darby this year. The 'Watch the Throne' rapper donned a Jheri curl wig, varsity jacket and signature hat for his MJ portrayal.

The New York Post gave more details on West's fiesta. Supermodel co-host Anja Rubik planned the party with a gypsy theme, including belly dancers and tarot card readers. Cover girl Rubik also planned the performances and tailored the guest list for the soiree.

That guest list included Beyonce, who has a connection to tarot cards herself -- remember when she played Carmen in MTV's movie version on the opera? (Hopefully her reading was more positive this time!)

In true "Queen B" fashion, looked adorable in her bumblebee costume. Beyonce dazzled in a bump-concealing yellow and black outfit, complete with antennae and matching yellow and black striped heels. Too cute!

Considering West's 'Watch the Throne' tour with Jay-Z got off to a roaring start and rave reviews, we suspect that the cards only read good things for the rapper.
