Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are engaged and the "Swish Swish" singer is ready to spill all the details about how it happened.

During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Perry opened up about how Bloom, 42, popped the question on Valentine's Day. She shared with host Jimmy Kimmel that she and her beau initially planned to go to dinner and see some art. They did end up going to dinner, but the actor surprised Perry, 34, with a helicopter ride in place of a museum or gallery trip, which Kimmel joked was "very Bachelor."

During the ride, Bloom handed Perry a note to read while he took out the ring he was preparing to give her and popped celebratory champagne. In the process, the bottle ended up broken and chaos ensued, according to the singer's account of the moment.

"The champagne is, like, broken. The bottle is everywhere, and I'm still looking at the note," she remembered. "He's pulling out this box that's too big for his coat pocket. It rip his coat pocket, and his elbow goes into the champagne."

In spite of all the mess, Perry said the proposal was "really sweet." After the helicopter landed, Bloom took his bride-to-be inside a building to celebrate their engagement with family and friends.

"He did so well," she said.

Perry posted a photo with Bloom and her engagement ring, valued at $5 million according to E! Online, not long after the proposal happened. The ring features a pink center stone surrounded by white diamonds.
