Kelly Clarkson Announces Release Date for Upcoming Album ‘Piece by Piece,’ Unveils Lyric Video for ‘Heartbeat Song’

Brace yourself for the greatest news you're going to receive all week. Kelly Clarkson's upcoming album, 'Piece by Piece,' officially has a release date! That's right -- as of March 3, Kelly's album will have finally made its way through our speakers and into ours hearts and we could not be more thrilled.

As for what to expect from the album -- which will be Kelly's first non-holiday release since 2011 -- we can't be totally sure, but Kelly did say it was headed in a more pop direction -- which is everything we love about her sound. If the rest of the album sounds anything like the first single, 'Heartbeat Song,' then we're pretty sure it's bound to be a pop masterpiece. She also previously mentioned a duet of some kind on the album, so we're hoping details of that will be released soon, too. In any case we're so excited to get new music from Kelly that we're practically foaming at the mouth.
