Kesha is no stranger to weird behavior and branding -- remember when she was going to put her face on condoms? Still, this is pretty wild, even for her. The 'Tik Tok' singer's blood will be available in a new record by the Flaming Lips. Yes, her actual blood.

NME reports that Kesha collaborated with the Flaming Lips on their Record Store Day project, called 'The Flaming Lips and Heady Fwends.' K-Dolla-Sign appears on a track called '2012,' along with Biz Markie. Perhaps this is what Coyne was referring to when he posted a video of the starlet “singing about taking acid as the world ends.”

Kesha's contributions don't end at her vocals, though. She also contributed a vial ... of blood. Coyne told NME, "What I'm going to try to do -- and I'm collecting stuff for it as we speak -- is I'm going to try to make a record that has every person's blood in the record."

While a lot of artists claim to metaphorical blood, sweat and tears into their albums, Coyne is being completely literal, and said that only five or six blood discs will be made. "I don't have everybody's blood just yet, but I collected quite a few vials of blood and it's actually sitting in my refrigerator as we speak," Coyne said. "I'm going to try to take that same concept and put little bits of everybody's blood in the middle of this record. Like a glass specimen thing."

Coyne kept a pretty detailed log of his recording sessions with Kesha, and to say they were out there would be an understatement. It's unclear whether the Lips will return the favor and appear on Kesha's upcoming "cock pop" record, but we're looking forward to hearing their work together nonetheless!
