The artist formerly known as Kesha (at least until her legal battle with Dr. Luke comes to a close) surprised her Animals with an early Christmas present on December 23: an intimate, impromptu concert at the Springwater Lounge in Nashville, TN. The singer was backed by her new band, who go by the name of Yeast Infection.

Although no live footage was immediately available following Yeast Infection's debut performance, Kesha posted a live recording of Yeast Infection's debut performance to her Facebook page on Christmas day. The video contains a loving shout-out to her fans, wishing them "HAPPY HOLLERDAYZ" from the band and thanking them "for all the support this year." The caption ends in typical bad-ass Kesha style with the bold statement, "Don't worry NO ONE will ever shut me up."

The 7-minute set begins with a guitar-heavy rendition of "Blow" featuring vocals that are more raw and visceral than anything Kesha has done before. The bridge and final chorus see her descending into a series of captivating, cathartic wails befitting a rock goddess.

Before the band begins its honky-tonk rendition of "Timber," Kesha takes a moment to address her fans, reminding them that they "mean the world to me and I f---king love you guys. You guys have been with me through such hard times and such good times and just everything."
