Kesha's mother, Pebe Sebert, has dropped her counterclaims against Dr. Luke, less than three months after a judge dismissed the producer's initial lawsuit against her.

Sebert filed a counterclaim against Dr. Luke after he first sued her for defamation and tortious interference, alleging that she and Kesha had teamed up to destroy his reputation in an attempt to release Kesha from her contract with Sony. But Dr. Luke's suit was dismissed by a New York judge who said because the alleged injury did not occur in New York, the court had no jurisdiction over Sebert. Dr. Luke then filed a similar claim against her in Tennessee.

As of yesterday (April 26), Sebert not only parted ways with her lawyer, Mark Gregaros, but she also dropped her counterclaims against the producer, which cited "intentional and negligent infliction of emotional distress based on the alleged abuse directed at Kesha,” according to The Hollywood Reporter.

“Pebe Sebert’s voluntary withdrawal of all her claims against Dr. Luke is her acknowledgement that her claims are meritless,” said Dr. Luke’s attorney, Christine Lepera. “Dr. Luke’s defamation and other claims continue against Pebe and Kesha Sebert."

Kesha, meanwhile, has reportedly been subpoenaed by Dr. Luke’s lawyers and will appear in court this coming June for an on-camera deposition. Dr. Luke may be present when Kesha answers questions under oath about the sexual assault and rape allegations she brought against him back in 2014.
