Kim Kardashian is speaking out about her beloved stepfather, Bruce Jenner, just days after he revealed to Diane Sawyer that he is transitioning into a woman.

"Bruce is the most honest — he just has the biggest heart," Kim told Matt Lauer on Today. "And I'm really happy for him that he is living his life the way he wants to live it and that he has found inner peace and just pure happiness. That is what life is about."

"I don't know what life would be like if you always felt like you weren't yourself," she continued. "I think as long as he is happy and he wants to life his life however he wants to live it, that just makes me happy. I support him 100%."

While the Kardashian-Jenner clan has been nothing but incredibly supportive of Bruce and his transition, Kim revealed that it is still an ongoing process of adjustment for the family.

"I think there is still an adjustment and there is family therapy and we're really close. I see reports that say, 'This one doesn't support him, and this one is over here. And my mom feels this way,' and it's all really so made up. We all really support him," she stated. "Is it a hard adjustment? Yes. … It's a daily process."

It's a process that takes time, but the family's number one priority is to treat Bruce with respect.

"We have been talking to people from the GLAAD organization and different organizations on... What do we call him? Do we say 'him' or 'her'? How do we be respectful? There's so many different things that you just want to be supportive and you just want to be respectful," Kim revealed. "… Bruce wants us to feel as comfortable as possible and take everything at our own pace. And we love him for that and respect him for that. Until that transition is done, we've learned that you do refer to him as 'him.' Bruce has always been really, really good at explaining things to us."

When Matt Lauer asked Kim if Bruce was ready to face scrutiny from tabloids and paparazzi, the reality star gave the most eloquent (and true) answer possible.

"He has waited almost 65 years to make this decision. Whether he's kept it to himself or not, he's lived with it," she said. "And when you are finally ready to be your true self, you are ready."
