Caitlyn Jenner Says She + Kim Kardashian Aren’t Speaking: ‘There’s a Lot of Drama’

You might be keeping up with the Kardashians, but these days, they can't necessarily say the same of each other.

Since April, when excerpts from Caitlyn Jenner's memoir began unrolling, things have been less than peaceful around the Kardashian-Jenner households. Both Khloe Kardashian and Kris Jenner have expressed grave disappointment in Caitlyn for airing the family's dirty laundry, and now, Caitlyn's revealed in a new interview with the Today show on Australia's 9 Network Thursday that Kim Kardashian isn't too pleased with her, either.

"I love Kimberly, I think she's a wonderful person," Caitlyn said. "But, well, to be honest with you, I really haven't talked to her in a long time. I've kind of let everything calm down. So I kind of stay, you know, I keep my distance. I'm out there trying to make a difference in the world. There's a lot of drama in the Kardashian family. This is my book about my opinions on things that had happened with me and my family. Any time I express my opinion, you know, with my family, there's always challenges in doing that."

Kim confirmed that she and Caitlyn are on the outs during an April appearance on The Ellen Degeneres Show.

"My heart breaks for my mom, you know, because I feel like she’s been through so much and there’s, you know… [Caitlyn’s] promoting this book and she’s saying all these things and you know, I just don’t think it’s necessary, you know, and I just feel like it’s unfair, things aren’t truthful," she said.

"Like I just, I wish her all the success in the world, but not at our expense," she added.
