Kim Kardashian West Opens Up About Son’s Hospitalization
A Happy New Year came a day late for Kanye and Kim Kardashian West. The couple's two-year-old son, Saint, was sent home on Tuesday (January 2) after spending three days in the hospital, fighting a bout of pneumonia.
The illness—a bacterial or viral infection that inflames one or both lungs and fills air sacs with fluid—can be life-threatening to children, so it's no wonder the soon-to-be mother of three was relieved to see her son recuperating from the ailment.
She posted a photo on Instagram letting the world know Saint is on the mend. "My precious baby boy is so strong!" she began the caption. "After spending three nights in the hospital & seeing my baby get multiple IV’s and hooked up to oxygen machines, our end of year was challenging. Pneumonia is so scary."
"I just want to thank every nurse & doctor out there who works so hard around the clock," she added. "We are so grateful for you all! He’s home and all better. He’s so resilient I’m sure he will still say the ambulance ride was cool! My strong Saint 👼🏽"
We're so happy to hear the toddler is back home and wish him a fast and speedy recovery!
